About Colorado Hearing Aid Center

We are Colorado Hearing Aid Center, established in 1980 at 8532 West Colfax Avenue and in 2005, moved to 3200 West 72nd Avenue. Our roots are in

designing and manufacturing hearing aids, which we started doing in the '70s. Our experience extends to the '60s when Mr. Wood’s father was a hearing aid fitter. Through his father's influence, Mr. Wood started repairing hearing aids and the development of the "Cricket" Hearing Aid, which he manufactured until the mid '80s.

In 1986, we stopped manufacturing to concentrate on sales of hearing aids only, but our goal has remained the same: dealing with and fitting

only the finest hearing aids made. We feel we can offer the very best fit for the very best hearing aids of any company in the city. We have been around for a long time. (Mr. Wood’s State of Colorado License is #27 if that is any indication!) We plan on continuing to be around by offering the best service and products.

Mr. Wood is a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist by the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences and a Colorado State Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist.

Our number one priority is to make you completely at ease with the process of the investigation of your hearing problem. Mr. Wood approaches this in the same way his father did in the '60s: "We make you feel at home."
